Day 7: July 18

今日はホストファミリーとお別れの日でした。前日は帰ってきたのが遅かったので今日はゆっくり寝て朝と昼兼用のご飯を食べました。その後はファミリーで写真を撮ったり家の中の写真を撮ったり荷造りをしました。私達はBad toelzというミュンヘンから少し離れたところに住んでいた為1時の電車に乗りました。２時にyouth hostelについてそこからみんなでJapan festival に行きました。たくさん人がいてみんなコスプレをしていたり浴衣を着ていたりととても賑わっていました。そこで私はドイツの学校に通っている日本とハーフの女の子と少しお話をしました。とても日本語が上手でジャニーズの話しをしたりしました。日本人はアニメや音楽などたくさん文化がある国だと改めて思いました。Japan festival の後、クラシックコンサートに行きました。初めて本場のクラシックコンサートを聴いたのでみんなとても感動していました。クラシックコンサートが１１時に終わったのでそこから急いでみんなでyouth hostelに戻り明日に備えて寝ました。

Today was the last day with the host family. I was home late the day before , so I slept a bit longer and had a brunch. Later on, we took pictures with the family and packed all my stuff. Since the house was a bit far from Munich, a place called Bad toelz, we took an hour of train ride. We meet at the youth hostel at two in the afternoon, and went to Japan festival. Many people “kosupure”, wearing yukata, uniforms, etc,. There I spoke with half-Japanese, half-German girl. I was surprised by how she could speak fluent Japanese. I realized that Japanese Anime and music are popular in Germany. After Japan festival, we went to classic concert. It was our first time to hear and see the concert in Germany, so everybody was excited by it. The concert ended at 11 o’clock, so we hurried back to youth hostel and got ready for tomorrow.
