Day-5: July 16 (#1)

この日は午前中にバディーの子と共に現地の学校で授業を受けました。ドイツの学校は9月から始まるため、私達が授業体験した時期は丁度学年末でした。ひとクラス25人程度で特に席は指定されていないようでした。ドイツ語でうけた授業はちんぷんかんぷんでしたが、科学の授業で実験をしたり、音楽の授業で知っているクラシック音楽を聴いたりと、それなりに楽しめました。授業が始まる前にクラスの子達が私に話しかけてくれて、その中に祖父母が日本に住んでいるドイツ人の子がいて、少し日本語で会話をしました。
ドイツの学校にはエアコンがなく、気候が暑すぎると授業がなくなることがあることに驚きました。この日は最後まで授業があり、一時頃に終わりました。学校からバディーの家に帰ってお昼ご飯を食べました。メニューは少し厚めのクレープのようなパンケーキに好きなものを挟んだものでした。これはドイツの典型的な子供向けのお昼御飯だそうです。
午後は、オリンピック記念公園に連れて行ってもらい、オリンピックタワーからミュンヘンの町を眺めました。それから公園の近くのお祭りに行きました。いろんな国の店が並んでいました。ドイツの夏には様々な祭りがあるそうです。その後は家に帰って、近所の人とともに夜遅くまでおしゃべりしながら晩御飯を食べました。近所の人々ととても近い関係でいいなと思いました。

This day, I went to school with my “buddy” and took classes. Since schools in Germany starts new year from September, it was the end of the year. There were about 25 students in one class and it seemed that seats were not particularly assigned. I couldn’t understand a single word during class since it was in German but I could enjoy the experiment in Chemistry class and songs in music class. Also it was interesting that I talked with a boy who can speak Japanese a little because his grandparents live in Japan. I was surprised that there was no air-conditioner in German school and class sometimes finishes because it is too hot. That day, school finished at 1:00 as normal. I ate lunch in my buddy’s house. I ate pancake that kind of thick crape with all kind of things. It is a typical German lunch for kids. After lunch, we went to Olympic park and saw the view of Munhen. After that, we went to the festival near the park. There were many different country’s stores. Then we went back to the house and had dinner and talked with neighbors until late at night. I thought it was sweet that neighbors were so close.
